Privacy Policy
Effective: September 23, 2026 · Qrylo LLC
This policy explains what Qrylo LLC ("we") collects when you use QryloTalk ("qtalk") (the "Service") and this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to our business customers, the people they invite to their workspace, and the callers and texters who contact them through the Service.
1. What we collect
Account data: name, work email, company name, workspace handle, password (stored hashed), billing details handled by our payment processor.
Telephony data: the phone numbers assigned to your workspace, call detail records (numbers, time, duration, direction, outcome), voicemail audio and transcripts, call recordings when your workspace turns recording on, and SMS messages and their delivery status.
Contact data: names, numbers and notes your team adds to contacts, and the content of conversations in your inbox.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, log data and diagnostic events needed to run the Service and to investigate abuse.
Website data: the information you submit through our contact form (name, company, email, phone, team size, message).
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service: connect calls, deliver messages, store voicemail and recordings, run the AI receptionist and show your team the shared inbox.
- To bill you and to prevent fraud, toll fraud and abuse of telephone networks.
- To provide support and to respond to requests you send through the website.
- To comply with law, including emergency calling, lawful requests and telecommunications regulations.
- To improve the Service using aggregated, de-identified usage statistics.
3. AI receptionist and transcription
When a workspace enables the AI receptionist, audio from those calls is processed by our voice and language providers in real time to understand and respond to the caller. The receptionist introduces itself as an AI assistant. Voicemail transcription works the same way.
Conversation content, recordings and transcripts are not used to train our models or our providers' models. Providers process this data under contracts that limit its use to delivering the Service.
4. Text messaging (SMS)
Businesses using QryloTalk can exchange text messages with their customers from their business numbers. When a person texts a business or otherwise opts in to receive texts, we store the phone number, the messages and the consent record (source and time) so the business can honor it.
We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. Phone numbers and SMS consent information are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
Anyone can stop receiving texts from a business on the Service by replying STOP to any message. Replying HELP returns contact information. Opt-out status is checked by our servers before every message is sent.
5. Call detail records (CPNI)
Call detail records and the services you subscribe to are Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) under US telecommunications law. We use CPNI only to provide, bill and support the Service, to protect our network and users against fraud and abuse, and as required by law. We do not use CPNI for marketing without your consent and do not sell it.
Access to CPNI inside our company is limited to staff who need it to provide the Service and is logged.
7. Retention and deletion
Account and workspace data is kept while your workspace is active. Call detail records are kept for the periods required by telecom and tax law. Voicemail, recordings and transcripts are kept until you delete them or close the workspace. Contact-form submissions are kept for 24 months.
Workspace admins can delete recordings, transcripts and conversations. Deletion is logged. When a workspace is closed, its data is deleted within 90 days except where retention is required by law.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Recordings and transcripts are scoped to the workspace that owns them and served through short-lived links. Access is role-based and audited. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as required by law.
9. Your choices and rights
You can access, correct or export your account data from your workspace settings, and ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including the right to know what we collect, to delete it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise a right, email support@qrylotalk.com. We verify requests before acting on them.
10. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We will post changes here and update the effective date. Material changes are announced to workspace admins by email.
